GondoLOVE

I have to say that I was forced into this blog as I believe that we should be exploring Europe rather than writing to those of you that are trying to make the most out of a boring summer in the BR. But anyways, here's one for the ladies or any fellow who likes getting kisses. We arrived at Venice after over 24 hours of traveling. Right away, I fell in love with the romantic city and instantly wanted to ride the famous gondolas. However, being frugal, my dream quickly faded when I realized the going price was 100 euros. With a little luck and my bargaining man beside me, the three amigos (yes, Neil came along with the couple) took a ride under the Bridge of Sighs (or what I like to call - the kissing bridge). It was the best thing we did all trip.

Ok, enough of the lovey dovey stuff. We meet up with Kathryn Beck and her friends that are studying abroad in Florence and enjoyed pizza and wine near the famous St. Mark's square. The next day we explored the city which is unique and beautiful, played with the pigeons and toured the church. All in all it was one of my favorite places filled with great company, good food (ice cream) and romance. We then left the wine country that I loved for the beer drinking countries in the North where I am now once again just "one of the boys" and my chances of finding another city of love is slim to none.

Comments

I'm glad to see that everyone is having fun with the blog. Even though it may be at my expense (or Danny's). I had decided not to mention too many encounters I have with girls past Rome to cut down on the jokes. We will be coming with a big update soon which will include Corfu, Venice, Salzburg, and Munich. Also, so you can sleep tonight Danny, this message wil be posted around 6:30 PM here. Thanks
